Did You Remember?
Now that the students are back in school, there’s a number of items that need to be returned. Here’s a list of what is needed. Please check to make sure that all items have been sent back to school! Thank you.

If you have not already ordered lunch for the week of 9/8—9/11, please do so by Wed., Sept. 2
And—the plastic folder! This will be our means of communication, and a way to ensure that all those papers arrive at home.

We wish to welcome all our students back to school! From our vantage point, everything went smoothly our first two days of school. We are excited about the positive changes in our program, and our students have been very responsive to the changes.
Parking Lot
Thank you for your cooperation with our dismissal for the past two days. Because of the weather, we were not able to have the parking lot coated and painted until last week. However, it is now ready for use. You can now drop off and pick up your children from the front. Please read our parking lot procedures below to ensure a safe an orderly beginning and ending to our school day! Thank you.
When picking up your child at 2:00 PM, please stay in your car and move with the line up to the top of the parking lot. Do not get out while in line to walk your child to your car.
If your child is not picked up by 2:15 , he/she will be signed in to the Club Champion Afterschool Program. Once signed in, you will be charged for the first hour of Club Champion.

Lunch Information
We are happy to continue our partnership with the Brockton Public Schools lunch program under Chartwell’s Service. Each day, a hot lunch will be delivered to our students for the price of $1.75 per day! All lunches meet the Federal guidelines for school hot lunches, and will come with milk and fruit. We are enclosing a lunch menu for September along with a lunch order form for this week.
In addition, an application for free/reduced lunch was sent to you by mail in August. Please fill out the form and return it to the school. If you qualify, we will let you know, and your child will receive the lunch at a free or reduced rate. If you do not want to apply, please send in the form with your name, and NA on the balance of the form. Thank you for your help and cooperation in this matter.
In today’s packet, you have a form for next week. Please return it by Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Forms not returned by 9 A.M. on Wednesday will not be accepted. You can also find the lunch menu and order form on our school’s website at www.brocktonchristian.com. Look under “forms” on the left sidebar.
The School lunch starts this Wednesday. Your order form should have been returned last week if you desire lunch for your child. If you did not order lunch, please send in a lunch for your child by 11:30 AM.
We recommend that all students refrain from sugary snacks during the school day. This includes candy and sugared drinks. It makes a difference in our schoolrooms! Thank you.
Students in grades K-4 through 6 may also bring a morning snack.

On gym day, students should wear school uniform gym clothing (BCS sweatpants and tee shirts with BCS sweatshirt, if needed. Students may also wear uniform shorts on gym days if weather is warm enough) All students should wear sneakers on gym day.
Parents and families are invited to join us for chapel on Wednesdays at 8:15. This week, we will be prayer walking in and around our building. Please join us as we cover our school with prayer!
Back to School Night
Back to School Night is on Monday, September 14, at 7:00 PM!
We invite you to come to hear your child’s teacher talk about this year’s program and expectations.
You will learn about your child’s teacher’s policies for homework, class work, and have the opportunity for questions and answers. Each teacher will give 2 twenty minute parent presentations (7:00 and 7:25) to allow for parents of more than one child to attend each class. You will also get to see your child’s classroom and view the room from his or her perspective!
This meeting is a MUST for parents! We encourage both parents or guardians to attend and learn about the school where your child spends at least six hours of his or her day! Please note: this is NOT an Open House night, so please either keep your children with you or leave them with a babysitter. Thank you.
