Dear Parent….

A letter from the Principal

Thank you for considering Brockton Christian School as the educational environment for your child. We realize you are seeking the best quality education and care for your child. As you seek enrollment for your child for this coming school year, we would like for you to consider the following.

Our school offers a quality Christian education with an academic program (PreK – grade 8) that ranks as one of the best in the city. You will see your child grow spiritually, as well as academically, in a safe and healthy environment. We want you to be confident that your child will receive excellent care at Brockton Christian School.

For working parents, we offer a before and after school child care program. Child care is available on days when school is in session, as early as 7:00 AM and until 6:00 PM. This program can be utilized daily or on an occasional basis. We also offer a Vacation ClubHouse (during February, April, and summer vacations) from
7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. In addition, we offer a hot lunch program daily during the school year.

If you are interested in enrolling your child, you will need to do the following things:

  1. Complete the application form.
  2. Ask your minister to complete the Pastoral (or Christian Leader) Reference form.
  3. Arrange a date for entrance testing/screening for your child (Grades K-5 - 8).
  4. Submit a current immunization and health record form your physician.
  5. Submit a copy of your child's birth certificate.
  6. Sign the release of school records with your child's former school so that school records can be reviewed by the administrative staff of Brockton Christian School.
  7. Contact the school office to set up a time for an interview and tour of the school.
  8. Bring a copy of your child’s most recent report card, a copy of their last standardized testing scores, and a copy of your child's IEP (if applicable) to your interview.
  9. If your child is accepted, a $100.00 registration fee is required before processing your application.

I hope that you will consider Brockton Christian School as the place for your child’s continued growth. We are not only concerned with your child’s academic progress, but his or her spiritual growth as well. What a wonderful opportunity it is to be able to go to school, to not only learn about academic subjects, but also about our Lord Jesus. Our goal is to help your child grow in “wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52) Excellence in academics, a staff that loves and cares for children, and a Christian environment help provide the atmosphere to help your child reach his or her highest potential!

I look forward to meeting with you in the near future as you explore BCS as an excellent educational alternative for your child. Should you have any questions, please contact our office. We are always happy to be of service. May God bless your decision making as you strive to determine the best educational environment for your child.

Yours in Christ,

Karen I. Hodges, Principal
